This is a three years clinical medicine training course, using NACTVET approved curriculum. It is divided into three NTA levels, 4, 5 and 6. Each level is done in one academic year, divided into two semesters. A candidate who qualifies for this course will be enrolled after verification by NACTVET.
Clinical medicine covers an exhaustive study of highly technical medical subjects and a practical experience of medicine. This experience can include direct observations, diagnosis, as well as treatment and management of real life patients.
Studying a clinical medicine course in Tanzania is vital because it directly addresses the national need for competent healthcare professionals to improve access to and the quality of health services, particularly in resource-strained and rural areas.
